Why this Product is so Good
The frameworks are usually used for sites where the walls are too weak to bear the full weight of the bike, or where the wall cannot be drilled into due to leasing arrangements or for cosmetic reasons. They can also be used to add an additional row of racks in the middle of a storage area,
These sturdy and well-constructed frameworks and racks hold the bicycle securely in place, while the (optional) security bar provides a locking point for the bike frame. This results in neat and organised individual parking.
Apart from the standard 90 degree option, the racks and security bars can be delivered at 60, 45 and 30 degree angles to the left or right. This allows the racks to be fitted to narrow sites.

Vertical Parking
Racks in rows need to be staggered in height to stop the handlebars and cables from catching.

- Higher rack: 1.42m from the bottom of the rack to the ground
- Lower rack: 1.14m from the bottom of the rack to the ground
- Spacing: minimum of 410mm
Capacity
This system holds one bicycle per hook.
Dimensions
This rack is approximately 360mm high and protrudes 580mm from the wall when not in use.
Mounting/Installation
The racks are fixed directly to the wall using standard bolts. The fixings used will depend on the wall construction. Please contact us for advice if required.
Material Options
These racks are made of powder coated mild steel. They are available in grey (stock item), but can be coated in most RAL colours.
Locking Mechanisms
For vertical parking, the cyclist can lock the bike frame and wheels to the rack using their own chain or D-lock.
Accessories
These racks can be mounted to a free-standing framework if required.
Security
The rack provides locking points for a bike.
However, the racks are only as good as the user’s lock. The bikes are visible to potential thieves and vandals, and they are open to the elements (unless under a shelter). Accessories, wheels and saddles can be stolen from them.
