Velo-Box Cycle Lockers Installed at York Park & Ride
The York Park & Pedal scheme helps you combine cycling with York’s Park & Ride services. It’s a fast way to commute or shop and a great way to fit some physical activity into your day.
Simply drive to a Park & Ride site, park for free and complete the rest of your journey into York by bike.
Cycle-Works have installed a number of Velo-Box cycle lockers were installed at the following sites;
• Grimstone Park & Ride – 6 Double-sided Velo-box lockers
• Rawcliffe Bar Park & Ride – 10 Double-sided Velo-box lockers
• Askham Bar Park & Ride – 24 Velo-safe lockers
• Poppleton Bar Park & Ride – 15 Velo-safe lockers
• McArthur Glen Designer Outlet – 15 Velo-box lockers
We also have some cycle lockers available at Monks Cross Park and Ride in addition to the above.
Each secure locker holds one bike. The lockers proved very popular and there was soon a waiting list for them.
