Cycle-Works were one of three cycle parking suppliers chosen to install bike hangars for a trial in Portsmouth. Cycle-Works installed and manage six of the cycle hangars across nice locations throughout the city.

Cycle works have installed the popular Velo-Store multi-bike units as part of the trial. The Velo-Store can hold four bicycles and features a compact 2m x 2 m design.

The units are designed to fit in a standard 2.4m x 4.8m car parking space.

The bike hanger trial objective is to provide secure, lockable cycle parking for residents at locations across the city where people are keen to cycle but are limited by insufficient outdoor cycle storage space at their property. Examples include flats with no cycle parking, flat fronted terraced houses with no rear or side access, and small gardens.
