Details of the long awaited Sustainable Transport Fund have just been announced by Government.

It has been claimed that this will replace the cycle promotion work of the specific cycling body, Cycling England, which has been cut to save 500m a year.
This body funded many progressive, innovative and popular cycling schemes, and only had a staff of 3 people, with no fixed offices, overheads, or admin costs.
