Cycle-Works have just returned from a very successful few days at The London Bike Show where we supplied and manned the secure cycle park for those visiting the show.
About 100 cycle parking spaces were installed at the West entrance to the Excel Exhibition Centre and, with good weekend weather, the cycle park was nearly overflowing by Sunday afternoon. The show attracted different genre of cyclists and this was apparent from the array of different cycles that were parked in the cycle park – from lightweight carbon race cycles to folding commuter bikes to recumbent and e-bikes – just about any type of bike that you could imagine.
The rounded-A toast racks that Cycle-Works provided were the ideal rack to securely lock the bikes to.
Cycle-Works also exhibited in the cycling area of the show and demonstrated the brand new Pump & Tool kit – an innovative bike maintenance station for public areas where bikes can be repaired and tyres can be pumped up if they need to be.
Inside the show visitors were able to visit not only the Bike Show but 2 other areas – The Triathlon Show and The Outdoor Show.
The show ran over 4 days from 12th – 15th February 2015.
