Cycle-Works played a pivotal role in encouraging a greener lifestyle by installing parking for 365 bicycles. With cycling encouraged as a primary mode of transportation, the project takes a significant step toward reducing its carbon footprint.
Given that the work was carried out on an existing structure, the challenge was to maximize the available space while accommodating the required number of bike racks.
This was achieved by employing a smart mix of gas-assisted Josta 2-tier racks, vertical wall racks (both on frames and mounted directly to the walls), and the timeless Rounded A racks.
The result was a resounding success, earning a BREEAM Outstanding rating and setting a new standard for cutting-edge urban refurbishment.
