Recent evidence is that the financial incentives provided to cyclists to get better bikes has really worked to promote cycling.

Cycle-works would support this view, as we have seen a considerable increase in demand for cycle parking, and generally people are buying far better bikes than before. Then they want the quality cycle parking that cycle-works can provide, such as the velo-safe locker.
We would like to see the scheme extended to cover the purchase of bike parking, together with direct funding in this area.
There is still no obvious source of funding for bike parking – and we get asked this all the time.
