On Wednesday 19th November 2013 Cycle-Works were present at the ATOC Cycle Rail Awards that took place in the members dining room at the Houses of Parliament. With over 160 invited delegates in attendance, Peter Davenport, Managing
Director of Cycle-Works, was pleased to sponsor and present the Cycle Security Award to First Capital Connect.
There were a number of initiatives that First Capital Connect undertook including funding security guards, supplying high-quality bike locks and promoting registering bikes with www.bikeregistry.com
The security aspect of cycle parking is a very important issue as far as Cycle-Works are concerned. Recently the Cycle-Works Velosafe and Velobox lockers have achieved Sold Secure certification through rigorous testing at the Sold Secure test facility near Banbury. this now makes these lockers the only secure lockers available that have Sold Secure status.
Stephen Hammond MP, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Transport was present to deliver his congratulations to the winners.
