It seems as though someone has been adding a bit of colour and protection to the Lock2Me bicycle racks in the Southsea area of Portsmouth!
‘Yarn bombing’ or ‘Urban knitting’ (as the activity is known) is a form of illegal graffiti but we at Cycle-Works feel that the clandestine group have actually added something special to the unique Lock2Me rack.
Not only has the knitting added colour to the rack but it has also produced a soft surface for the bike frame to lean against. So here is a big thankyou from Cycle-Works to the ‘Yarn Bombers’ of Southsea.
